More time than ever,

But weary with a new form of communication.

Meetings, check-ins, resource overload.

Chimes of messages an incessant background noise.

Half the students done and bored.

Half the students not to be found.

Due dates in limbo.

Curriculum to be finished.

Families relocating.

Goodbyes uncertain.

Sleep schedules nonexistent.

Morning meetings continue as scheduled.

Only a quarter remains.

But it gets longer every day.

And we are weary.
