Just feeling a bit worn out today.
What a paradox we’re living in.
Still able to communicate, but
Longing for a deeper connection.
We each have our struggles,
We’re each learning how
To navigate this new life.
We’re yearning for home,
Yearning for the outdoors,
Yearning for a normal we may never see again.
The grief is tangible,
Loss of friends, routines,
Lives, relationships, celebrations, fellowship.
And what a paradox,
To know the meaning of life,
To have the greatest need met.
And yet, we’re still uncertain.
We still long for more.
We’re still feeling lost.
How patient You are.
Even in our doubt,
You continue to pursue us.
How fickle we are,
We cannot stay put,
Even at risk of life.
Teach us to be still.
Teach us to know You.
Teach us to wait.
We want to be faithful.
We know Your Truth.
We want to apply it.
Give us grace.
Help us rest.
We surrender to You.
Love this!
